This Is Niecy is the debut album by Gary, Indiana singer Deniece Williams. Released in 1976 on Columbia Records This Is Niecy was produced by Charles Stepney and Earth, Wind & Fire's Maurice White.

The album went to number 3 and number 33 on the Black and Pop album Charts respectively. The single Free reached number 25 on the US pop singles chart, number 2 on the R&B singles chart and number 1 on the UK singles chart.[2] This Is Niecy has been certified gold in the United States by the RIAA.[3]
A digitally remastered version of the album was made available in 2005, and it included 1 bonus track which was a shorter version of Free.[4]
